I know, I know, it is still going to be HOT this week!!

It still feels like Fall

is in the Air!

Hi Everyone!

We opened our doors last week @ FMAA..YAY!! This is a “JAM PACKED” email – make sure to read it all. Also, we have changed our email service. If you have any difficulties, please let me know.

Only a handful of our students chose to come in but we feel confident that they will trickle back in. John and I are doing many “proactive” things to try and help it along. We are still not ready for our singers to come back but that WILL happen!

WE STILL WANT TO EMPHASIZE…..

We got the “Good to GO” from the County.

We have taken EVERY

precaution to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT

CORONA CAFE’s

to every 3 weeks.

It JUST doesn’t seem like the 2 weeks provides quite enough time for people to prepare and engage. That being said, the next one will be..

I know this is 4 WEEKS AWAY…My best friend from 7th grade will be here the week of the 14th which would been the 3 weeks!

Also, Holidays are around the corner so things generally slow down anyway.

I am saddened that we will not be doing our annual show this year.

That being said, I should probably bring this up, although, it’s hard.

Our choir donations over the years have REALLY helped our school. During this Covid Pandemic, Fresno Music Academy & Arts has dropped nearly half of our clients, and we have also lost the generous donations that Hearts On Fire provided us in the weekly donation bucket.

My hopes are that we are all together again soon, to sing and enjoy the company of one another. HOF is your community choir and you are all the HEART in Hearts on Fire.

For the holidays, we are considering a HOF online virtual program that everyone would enjoy including members of HOF, family, friends and all. Details to come.

We would include a donation link that would ultimately support Hearts on Fire and its ultimate come back.

You are all so very important to me and our community, and we appreciate any of your thoughts and suggestions on rebuilding HOF.

We are going to do a BUNCH of Video Testimonials to try to help get our beautiful “house of Love” FMAA back up and going. If you could do that I would be SO GRATEFUL! Music is the Universal Language. We at Fresno Music Academy & Arts believe deeply that music is a way to spread Love and Peace into this world. We help do that everyday, by teaching music to children and adults from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Our hearts are broken as we have watched the events of the last several months and now especially the last few weeks. We, the Fresno Music Academy Family stand in solidarity to end racism and violence.

We will continue spreading love and peace and we will continue embracing hope, integrity & honesty, kindness & inclusion through our actions, our words and through music.
