With Thanksgiving approaching, I just cant say enough about how Thankful I am for all of YOU!! I dream of the day we can all gather together and make music again. I love you all.

FUN OPPORTUNITY...Vince Warner is looking for a few of us…maybe 6-10 people to sing back up on the song “Happy Christmas” The date is Sunday Nov 29th. I don’t have a time yet. We will be in the Vista. We will sing in small groups as social distancing allows. If you’d like to be there, please let me know. This is a video project that Vince is doing.

Ok we are almost there. There are a few folks that will need to come back in and re do their performance due to some technical issues. The REDO date..you know who you are if you need to fix… is NOV 20th @4PM!

SO…we have room for maybe 3 more additional singers….

Prepare a “Holiday” song. It can be a solo, a duo, whatever you feel like doing. If it’s a Karaoke Track, please get that to me ASAP.

ONE WARM COAT

We are once again partnering with the one warm coat organization and will be a donation location! Starting today, you can drop off your gently used coats and blankets to FMAA. You can also make financial donations. We will be collecting items and donations through December.

More and more of our students are choosing to come in. YAY! John and I are doing many “proactive” things to try and help it along. We are still not ready for our singers to come back but that WILL happen!

I am saddened that we will not be doing our annual show this year.

That being said, I should probably bring this up, although, it’s hard.

Our choir donations over the years have REALLY helped our school. During this Covid Pandemic, Fresno Music Academy & Arts has dropped nearly half of our clients, and we have also lost the generous donations that Hearts On Fire provided us in the weekly donation bucket.

My hopes are that we are all together again soon, to sing and enjoy the company of one another. HOF is your community choir and you are all the HEART in Hearts on Fire.

For the holidays, we are considering a HOF online virtual program that everyone would enjoy including members of HOF, family, friends and all. Details to come.

We would include a donation link that would ultimately support Hearts on Fire and its ultimate come back.

You are all so very important to me and our community, and we appreciate any of your thoughts and suggestions on rebuilding HOF.

Music is the Universal Language. We at Fresno Music Academy & Arts believe deeply that music is a way to spread Love and Peace into this world. We help do that everyday, by teaching music to children and adults from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Our hearts are broken as we have watched the events of the last several months and now especially the last few weeks. We, the Fresno Music Academy Family stand in solidarity to end racism and violence.

We will continue spreading love and peace and we will continue embracing hope, integrity & honesty, kindness & inclusion through our actions, our words and through music.
