New Year Everyone!
I hope that you all had a Happy Holiday. Ours was very quiet as I’m certain everyones was. I know we are all tired of this. We just need to hang tight…TOGETHER!
As I reflect back on this past year, I have to say that not was not ALL bad. I did some things that I would have never had the time to do. JUST as this thing started I had JUST begun my Hospice Volunteering. I took the classes through Hinds Hospice and I had begun seeing patients. Then the world shut down. I REALLY look forward to being able to do that again.
I also took a class through a Chaplaincy school in Berkeley. I will say, it kicked my ass! BUT, I learned SOOOOO much. I would LOVE to do that entire program at some point. We shall see….
Also, I have been “peeking around doors” as far as the future of this place (FMAA)…this location… etc… I really have “open hands” as to what may be next…or not.
Also, I have several creative projects in the works. I NEED to finish them!
Best of all, I reconnected with several friends via zoom. I also spent TONS of time with my sister via zoom!
I MISS OUR CHOIR!
I was going through my notebooks and journals from last year…all the plans I had…songs…etc. Made me sad. BUT…it is whats is for now.
Well, we are still in the dark as far as knowing when we can meet again.
I will continue to remain hopeful that it will end sometime in 2021 and we can sing together again!
