Hello and Happy Monday!!
Good Morning Beautiful Choir,
So heres the deal. Over the past 11 years now our “seasonal MO” has been that we have taken a summer break, with the exception of last year because of Abbey Road and how last year’s season played out.
Well It appears that THIS season we will be going back to our other “MO” of taking a summer break.
My daughter really needs my help this upcoming week (June 26th) so I’m going to cancel choir. I had already scheduled a small break in July SO, because we had last week off too, this makes us have an entire MONTH off. I also have a week scheduled to be off at the end of August. We can play that one by ear.
Because we no longer have the big Rock-n-Roll show happening this season in November (due to the whole grant issue), and we DO have Abbey Road coming up at the winery, I don’t feel the immediate pressure of learning all this new music…plus I don’t have anything new yet…Burning Down the House is coming…it will be up on the site before we return in mid July!
So… I’m going to welcome this short time off and I hope you all will as well.
All this to say, life happens and I am going with the flow.
SHIFT OF FOCUS
We have an Abbey Road show coming up on October 18th. For the next few months we will focus on this show while at the same time, still be learning and singing the other music for the spring TOWER THEATER performance…God willing and all..that we get the grant.
I have 4 tentative dates set aside for our “We will Rock you” show at the Tower Theater in April, 2025!
For the next several weeks off, I’d like everyone to start listing to Abbey Road. Its all up on the website!!!
When we come back on July 17, we will sing through the show and take a assessment of where we are. Please focus on Side A of Abbey Road.

Even with the amount of new folks in our choir, I KNOW this show will come together easily!
