Dear Fresno Music Academy & Arts Students and Parents,

I hope this letter finds you filled with the delight that music and arts bring

to our lives. It is with both joy and sadness that I share some news with you

today. After much consideration, I have decided to step down from my role as

the Office Manager at Fresno Music Academy & Arts.

Working with all of you has been an incredibly fascinating adventure, and

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the support, camaraderie, and

unforgettable moments we’ve shared throughout the last 7 years. Witnessing the

growth and progress of our talented students, both young and old, has been a

source of immense happiness for me. Your passion for music and dedication to

honing your craft has not only enriched my professional life but has also left a

lasting and positive impact on my personal journey.

I want to assure you that this transition is a positive one, and there are no

ill feelings behind my departure. Life is a series of chapters, and it’s time for me

to embark on a new one. However, the spirit of FMAA will continue to thrive

under the capable hands of our new managers.

I am pleased to announce that Emily will be taking over the reins at our

Tower location, while Camille will be doing the same at our North location. Bri

and Tori will be supporting them at the front desk, ensuring the smooth

operation of both locations. I have complete confidence in their abilities, and I

believe they are more than capable of “running the ship” and maintaining the

high standards we’ve set at Fresno Music Academy & Arts.

I want to again express my sincere thanks to each and every one of you

for your collaboration, dedication, and the beautiful memories we’ve created

together. Your passion for music has made our academy vibrant and unique.

Though my role as Office Manager may be changing, I am excited to

share that you will still see me around, as I will maintain my position as a voice

instructor at FMAA. I am eager to continue fostering the musical growth of our

students in this capacity.

As we journey through this transition, the words of the great musician

Miles Davis come to mind: “Sometimes you have to play a long time to be able to

play like yourself.” Embracing change allows us to evolve and discover our true

potential. I am confident that this shift will usher in fresh opportunities for the

growth and success of FMAA.

Thank you once again for being a part of this magical musical family with

me. I look forward to seeing you all in the next chapter of our lives together.

Harmoniously Yours,

Allison Lanford
