Happy Wednesday!!

GOOD MORNING MY FRIENDS (-:

Most of you probably noticed that I did not send an email last week.

Last Weekend,Dec 10th-11th we had our Holiday Student showcases. Saturday night we had the first only “grown-ups” only showcase. It was so much fun!! Sunday we worked from 8 AM to 8PM. We saw close to 100 students perform that day. It was magic.

When I got home Sunday night I had a fever and within an hour I knew it was gonna be bad. I was on the couch from Sunday night until Friday night.

On Wednesday I was so sick I was certain I had the flu so John drove me to urgent care. They tested mt for Covid, Flu and RSV. ALL NEGATIVE. I have a cold. (Yes, I still have it…4 boxes of kleenex and a half a roll of toilet paper later). I feel like I lost an entire week of my life. It has been a VERY difficult week with me “out” and sooooo much going on at work.

The good news is that I am on the mend. Many of you called, textd , brought me a card etc. THANK YOU.

Lets have a Hearts on Fire Holiday Party/ Cardiac Cafe and Watch Party!!

I am proposing

Thursday Night December 29th @ 7:00 PM

Here is why…

1.The ViSTA will still be decorated for Christmas.

2.It’s a few days BEFORE New Years Eve so, it won’t feel like too many parties (if you are a big NYE Party person) in a row.

3.Hopefully if you were traveling OR are going to travel, you MIGHT be home by then OR getting ready to leave??

4.I really want JUST THIS GROUP of choir members to meet together BEFORE we resume in January for Abbey Road and new folks show up. Wc will do a “meet and greet” type thing in January(-:

5.We will do the same thing…bring your gift for the exchange, bring a snack and a drink and if you want to sing, let me know!

Regarding COVID…

I feel the need to reiterate the policy that we put into place regarding COVID back in May when we started singing together again.

The following was the protocol.

The assumption is that you are vaccinated. If you are new and are going to join us, you will be asked to show your proof of vaccination. If you are NOT, you must show a negative test within 72 hours of our rehearsals (-:
