Hello from Arts Annex Fresno,
My name is John Alden, and together with Debi Ruud, I’m excited to share what we’ve been working on. Over the past months, we’ve been transforming the space at 814 E. Olive Avenue—directly across from the Tower Theatre—into a new creative home for local artists: Arts Annex Fresno.
Arts Annex is a retail gallery space offering a limited number of opportunities for artists to display and sell their work. We have wall space for two-dimensional art, as well as room for fabric and textile artists, jewelers, sculptors, and other creative forms.
This is a rental-based gallery with no commissions—artists keep 100{f97fbbe8e2c55d6660ba85bf4833704f7c689de6793fb36dd007929dab8a50a9} of their sales. Our goal is to create a welcoming, regularly open space where artists can share their work with the community.
We would love for you to join us for an open house on January 13, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. This evening will be a chance to visit the gallery, see the space in person, meet us, and hear how Arts Annex will work.
