I am changing the date of CORONA CAFE THIS WEEK from Wednesday to THURSDAY NIGHT!!!!!

John asked that I go out of town with him so we are CHANGING THE DATE to Thursday Oct 22nd at 7:00 PM. Please scroll down and read to get the details!!

Holiday ZOOM Concert!

We are doing it! We are putting together a Hearts on Fire Holiday Concert.

We need YOU, members of HOF to…

Prepare a “Holiday” song. It can be a solo, a duo, whatever you feel like doing.

Come to Fresno Music Academy & Arts on the dates Monday November 9th and Tuesday November 10th and record/video your performance. Have fun. Dress up. Be Creative. The show will air in December!

There is room for 20 performances.

We will include a few past choir performances and a few other surprises. We will pick a date, MAYBE sell tickets or have a donation link.

Only a handful of our students are choosing to come in but we feel confident that they will trickle back in. John and I are doing many “proactive” things to try and help it along. We are still not ready for our singers to come back but that WILL happen!

I am saddened that we will not be doing our annual show this year.

That being said, I should probably bring this up, although, it’s hard.

Our choir donations over the years have REALLY helped our school. During this Covid Pandemic, Fresno Music Academy & Arts has dropped nearly half of our clients, and we have also lost the generous donations that Hearts On Fire provided us in the weekly donation bucket.

My hopes are that we are all together again soon, to sing and enjoy the company of one another. HOF is your community choir and you are all the HEART in Hearts on Fire.

For the holidays, we are considering a HOF online virtual program that everyone would enjoy including members of HOF, family, friends and all. Details to come.

We would include a donation link that would ultimately support Hearts on Fire and its ultimate come back.

You are all so very important to me and our community, and we appreciate any of your thoughts and suggestions on rebuilding HOF.

Would anyone else be willing to open up your phone and do a quick 1-2 minute video about how much you LOVE Fresno Music Academy & Arts. We are going to do a BUNCH of Video Testimonials to try to help get our beautiful “house of Love” FMAA back up and going. If you could do that I would be SO GRATEFUL! You can email them or text them to me if they are not too long.

Music is the Universal Language. We at Fresno Music Academy & Arts believe deeply that music is a way to spread Love and Peace into this world. We help do that everyday, by teaching music to children and adults from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Our hearts are broken as we have watched the events of the last several months and now especially the last few weeks. We, the Fresno Music Academy Family stand in solidarity to end racism and violence.

We will continue spreading love and peace and we will continue embracing hope, integrity & honesty, kindness & inclusion through our actions, our words and through music.
