I’m so sorry I forgot last weeks email

I am a dork. I TOTALLY forgot last weeks email. Again, I hope that you all had a Happy Holiday and are settling into routines and “getting back to Life” as it were. Apparently I am not back into my routine (-:

FIRST THINGS!!

I am changing the CORONA CAFE DATE!! I have it scheduled for next Wednesday the 20th. That is Inauguration Day. I figure we will all be glued to our TV’s…so I’m moving it to Wednesday the 27th!

I MISS OUR CHOIR!

I was going through my notebooks and journals from last year…all the plans I had…songs…etc. Made me sad. BUT…I have HOPE!

I will continue to remain hopeful that all this stuff will end sometime in 2021 and we can sing together again!

Because of this thing called HOPE,

I am putting a date on the Calendar!

Wednesday May 19th 2021

That is 18 weeks from now. May 21st is my Birthday so I figure we can have a party and MAYBE by then come back together. I figure it’s a good thing to put a date on the calendar. Of course, we can always change that. But..with the vaccine and all, I am gonna have HOPE that we can meet by then (-:

No, not in person but yes, back open for lessons! If you want to take lessons, now is a GREAT time to do it. I will be back at my ukulele lessons THIS week!

Music is the Universal Language. We at Fresno Music Academy & Arts believe deeply that music is a way to spread Love and Peace into this world. We help do that everyday, by teaching music to children and adults from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Our hearts are broken as we have watched the events of the last several months and now especially the last few weeks. We, the Fresno Music Academy Family stand in solidarity to end racism and violence.

We will continue spreading love and peace and we will continue embracing hope, integrity & honesty, kindness & inclusion through our actions, our words and through music.
